Spider Bite!
Someday our dog will learn not to play with Spiders. This is what happens when you try to eat one!
First the swelling...
Then the hives
This was not a fun experience as the vet put her on prednisone and it made her super hyper and hungry ALL the time!
Summer vacation has been going fast! Tomorrow we are going on a quick day trip to the beach. It's about a three hour drive...so it's a lot of driving for one day....but it should still be fun. The weather has been absolutely beautiful today. I count it as an extra special blessing!

aw. poor pup! it looks pitiful.
hope you enjoyed your day at the beach!~
i love the beach! which one do you go to? our favorites are ocean city, NJ. and long beach island, NJ.
poor doggie! i suppose that is an alergy? WOW!
oh, poor baby!!! i'm pretty sure our Newton was stung by a bee or a wasp last week. he came in from outside limping and immediately started licking his hind foot furiously. he kept it up for probably 10 minutes. after that, he was just fine and not limping. amazing how God made the dog's tongue, huh? but your poor baby couldn't reach his own nose!!! i hope he's feeling better now!

Yup....the dog's pretty much back to normal!
@chulya - We went to Indian River DE. I like Ocean City NJ too. Interestingly enough...I've never been to Long Beach Island....but I would like to get there sometime. I really liked Indian River. They had showers....no outlets...but at least you felt clean for the trip home. We loved watching the wind surfers and just a little way down the beach there were all kinds of rocks leading into a marina and the fishermen were having awesome luck catching sea bass and flounder!
